Storage & the facility
Where exactly are my decorations stored?
In a secured, professional, climate-controlled warehouse in the Dallas–Fort Worth metro, kept at a steady 72–75°F year round. It's monitored, alarmed, and access-controlled — not an attic, not an open yard, and not a self-storage row that anyone with a gate code can walk down.
Is the facility really climate-controlled? At what temperature?
Yes — your collection is kept at a steady 72–75°F year round, with managed humidity. That's the whole point: an unconditioned Texas attic swings past 140°F in summer, and that heat is what cracks ornaments, softens tree adhesive, and fades fabrics. A steady, moderate temperature is exactly what delicate decorations need.
Who has access to my decorations?
Only our trained, background-checked team — and access is logged. Your bins aren't sitting somewhere the public can reach them.
How do you keep my collection separate from everyone else's?
Every bin is labeled and scanned to your account, and your decorations are stored together as your Christmas Closet. They're tracked individually and logged in and out, so we always know which bins are yours and where they are. Your things never get mixed in with another family's.
Is my collection insured while you have it?
Yes. We carry insurance on the items in our care — both in storage and in transit. In the rare event something is damaged while it's our responsibility, we make it right at documented replacement value. We'll walk you through coverage and how to note any especially valuable or irreplaceable pieces when you sign up.
Pickup, delivery & logistics
How does the yearly cycle actually work?
In November we bring your decorations to your door. You enjoy the season. After the holidays — between December 26 and mid-January — we come back and take everything to climate-controlled storage for the year. Then it all comes back next November. You set the dates; we handle the rest.
Do I have to pack everything myself?
Only if you want to. Self-Pack members pack their own bins on their own schedule. White Glove members never touch a bin — we pack and unpack for you. Concierge members get all of that plus full setup: we assemble, light, and place your tree and put everything in the rooms you choose.
What size are the bins, and how many can I store?
We use sturdy, purpose-built bins designed for safe stacking and easy inventory. You buy exactly how many you need — most homes land between 5 and 12 — and you can add more as your collection grows. There's no hard cap; if you have a whole-house, full-production Christmas, we'll size a plan for it.
What if I need something out of storage mid-year?
Just ask. Because every bin is tracked to your account, we can find the specific bin you need and arrange to get it back to you. (A rescue retrieval is a small flat fee outside your two scheduled visits.)
What if I miss my pickup window, or need to reschedule?
Life happens — just let us know and we'll find another time. The January collection window runs across two weeks precisely so there's room to flex. Founding members also get first choice of dates.
What happens if I move?
If you move within our service area, nothing changes except the delivery address. If you move away, we'll return your collection to you and prorate your season. Your decorations are always yours — we're just keeping them for you.
Your Christmas collection
Can you store artificial trees, wreaths, and garlands?
Yes to all of it. Trees go in dedicated tree bags, and wreaths and garlands have their own protective storage. These are add-ons so you only pay for what you actually have.
Can you store outdoor decorations and inflatables?
Yes — outdoor décor, lighting, and inflatables are all welcome. Oversized items may need an extra bin or a small handling note, which we'll sort out when we size your plan.
Can I add or remove things from year to year?
Of course — collections grow and change. Add bins as you accumulate more, or scale back if you downsize. We re-confirm your count each season, so you're always on the right plan.
What does "we set it up" actually include?
On the Concierge plan, we assemble your tree, light it, and stand it exactly where you want it, and we carry every bin to the right room. We get the heavy, time-consuming part done. The finishing touches — hanging the ornaments that mean the most, styling the mantel — we leave to you, because that's the fun part and it's personal. (Prefer we do more? Just ask.)
What's the photographed inventory that comes with Concierge?
As we pack your collection, Concierge members get a photographed, searchable record of what's in every bin — so you always know what you have and where it is, without digging. Never lose track of a single treasure again.
One important boundary: we document what you own, not what it's worth. It's a visual record, not an appraisal, and we don't assign values to anything. The photos are yours — if you ever want to use them for your own insurance purposes, they're there for you and your insurer, with no valuation from us.
Pricing & membership
How much does it cost?
Plans start at $499 a season for Self-Pack and scale with how many bins you have and how much you want us to do. White Glove starts at $849 and Concierge at $1,149. The quick estimator gives you a number in about ten seconds.
Do I own the bins, or rent them?
You own them — $22 each, yours forever. Buying your bins outright keeps them yours even if you ever pause membership, and it keeps our pricing honest. Tree bags and wreath storage work the same way.
How is the price decided — by bin count or home size?
By how much you store and how much you want us to do. We estimate your tier from a couple of quick questions at signup, then confirm with an actual count at your first pickup — and if you have less than you thought, we adjust you down. You're never charged for more than you store.
What's a Founding Member?
Our first 100 members in DFW. Founding members lock in their rate for life, get first choice of pickup and delivery dates before public booking opens, and have a direct line to the founders. It's our thank-you for betting on us early.
Do I have to pay anything today to join?
No. Right now you're reserving a founding spot — we'll email you to confirm your details and tier. You're not charged until your membership is set for the season.
Trust & peace of mind
Who comes into my home?
Our own trained, background-checked, uniformed crew — the same people, not a rotating cast of strangers or day labor. We treat your home and your things the way we'd want ours treated.
What if something is damaged or goes missing?
Everything is scanned in and scanned out and tied to your name the whole way, so items don't simply vanish. If something is damaged while it's in our care, we make it right at documented replacement value. For irreplaceable heirlooms, tell us at signup so we can give them extra attention.
You're brand new — why should I trust you?
Fair question, and we'd rather answer it straight than pretend we have ten years of reviews we don't. Christmas Closet is being built by DFW locals who got into this because we lived the problem. We're deliberately opening with a limited number of founding members so every single collection gets real attention in year one. The systems — bin-by-bin tracking, background-checked crews, insurance, climate control — are in place from day one, not someday.
